I'm a surgeon, not an influencer. Why be on camera?
Patients choosing a surgeon want to hear from the person who will operate, not an actor. The surgeon answers the questions patients already ask in consults, in plain words, on camera. Nurses, your coordinator, and the front office can carry the rest of the day.
Can you post our before-and-after photos?
Before-and-after photos post only when you pick them and the patient's written consent is on file. Each set carries your practice's required disclosures, and you approve every one before it goes up. We pair the photos with the surgeon explaining the case, because a photo alone answers very little.
Our practice already has a marketing person. Where do you fit?
Patheom takes the filming, editing, posting, and the inbox off your marketing person's desk. That person keeps what they already own, like email, events, and reviews. On Signature, the weekly report shows what posted and what booked, so everyone reads the same numbers.
How much of a filming day does the surgeon have to give?
One hour in front of the camera per month covers the surgeon's entire part. The rest of the day belongs to your coordinator, your nurses, and the rooms patients see. We schedule around the OR, so if you finish at three, we start at four.
Who owns the videos and the social accounts?
Your practice owns the videos and the accounts, from the first filming day onward. The accounts stay in your name, with your logins, and we post from them. Every raw file, edited cut, and script goes to your practice on request. Patheom leaves with nothing of yours.
What happens when someone DMs a photo and asks what you'd do?
On Signature, the front desk tells the sender that the surgeon gives opinions in person. It never comments on the photo or asks for health details in a DM. A photo review belongs in the consult room, not in a message thread. Your coordinator gets an alert, and the sender gets two consult times.
What do we agree to before the first filming day?
Both plans are paid. The 15-minute call fixes the price and the scope of the work. The surgeon has both in writing before a camera is set up. Social and Signature differ in filming days and video count, and the call covers which one fits.
How much does it cost?
It depends on the scope. We set the price on the 15-minute call and send it to you in writing.
When do I know the price?
Before anything is filmed. Scope and price come in writing after the call, and nothing starts until you say yes.
Is my business a fit?
We build for established businesses doing $1M a year or more. Close to that and growing? Tell us on the call.
Do you have proof?
Our founders have taken local businesses to millions of views. We'll show you the screenshots on the call.
Who runs Patheom?
Four founders run Patheom. Giancarlo Guccione takes the calls, answers the phone listed here, and runs the monthly strategy call on Signature.
